IndiaFest in collaboration with Meat Market Restaurant, are hosting an Indian Food & Wine Event with Meat Market’s Chef De Cuisine, Pushkar Marathe, creating an indian inspired 5-course menu with wine pairing on February 15, 2017 at Meat Market Palm Beach. Chef Pushkar Marathe is originally from Mumbai and started his profession in India with later having worked in restaurants around the world including, Switzerland, Qatar, the Cayman Islands, Bahamas and the US.

Born and raised in India at a time when nearly all produce was purchased directly from farmers, Pushkar Marathe learned from an early age how to forge good relationships with growers and developed a good eye for quality produce. He prefers seasonal and locally sourced products.
He’s a chef who is truly versed with world cuisine, having worked in restaurants in India, Switzerland, Qatar, the Cayman Islands ,east and the U.S.A, the Bahamas.
Pushkar believes cooking is unique as an art form because it requires the involvement of all five senses.
